Munich. On July 1, 2022, preliminary self-administration was ordered at the application of Beissbarth GmbH. The restructuring process initiated by Beissbarth itself aims at a strategic and financially future-proof repositioning of the company with new investors.
Business operations are currently running without restrictions and are expected to be continued undisturbed even after the opening of the self-administration proceedings planned for October 1, 2022. Despite the challenges of restructuring and the additional challenges arising from supply chains that need to be secured and price increases for materials and energy, the company is on a good path to the future, thanks in particular to the commitment of its employees and the trust of its customers and business partners. In particular, the long-term and future-oriented cooperation with major automotive manufacturers, e.g. in the context of homologations of further products, is being continued.
Particularly important for the future of Beissbarth is the investor process already initiated in July 2022, which is developing positively. There is great interest in Beissbarth, so that a continuation solution for which an investor is responsible can be expected before the end of 2022. The aim of the investor process in the current phase is to position Beissbarth in the best possible way for the future in order to expand its technological market leadership and to be able to develop new international markets in addition to the strong market coverage in the DACH region.
It is also forward-looking that, despite the economic challenges, Beissbarth will be represented with an exhibition stand at Automechanika Frankfurt 2022, the leading trade fair for the automotive industry in the field of workshop equipment, which will take place in mid-September. In this context, the Beissbarth team is particularly pleased to have been nominated for one of the coveted Automechanika Innovation Awards: The product Q.DAS, developed for the calibration of driver assistance systems, is one of the finalists in the category "Workshop & Service Solutions" as an innovative solution for modular digital VAS calibration.
